The first thing you notice about Raysharde is his afro. Reysharde has a effervescent personality and seemed to have an upbeat attitude. Raysharde insists that people call him "the black Clay Aiken."
Raysharde sang Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me. He sang the first four notes fine, and then slipped into an unbelievably nasal sound for a couple notes. The rest of the song was just off pitch as he dropped to his knees and belted out the lyrics.
The judges advised Raysharde that he was just too over the top with his performance. Simon labeled it as "1970s cruise ship cabaret."
